We're looking for a strong, independent professional who's client facing, systems-savvy and excited about the future of AI and automation in finance. Key responsibilities: Take ownership of a portfolio of SME clients. Work independently from start to finish, from onboarding to delivery to billing client. Lead and support financial statement preparation under IFRS. Collaborate on system improvements and automation initiatives. Ensure compliance and accuracy in complex reporting environments. Accurate processing of sales and purchase invoices, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals and prepayments, VAT preparation and submissions. Maintaining clean, review-ready ledgers at all times. Managing tasks, deadlines and workflows through Xero Practice Manager. Requirements: Degree in Accounting. SAIPA/AGA with Articles experience (preferred). Hold a Xero Advisor Certificate. Proven experience within an Accounting practice environment. Minimum of 3 years experience preparing management reports and balance sheet reconciliations.
