Job description
Agrico Winterton is looking for a counter sales person. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers and ensuring excellent service, while also managing administrative tasks in the walk-in store.
As a Counter Salesperson at Agrico in Winterton, your primary responsibilities will include:
Customer Service: Assist with customers, providing product information and recommendations to meet their needs.
Sales: Drive sales by engaging with customers, process orders efficiently and ensure customer satisfaction.
Stock Management: Oversee stock levels, conduct regular inventory checks, and coordinate with the stockroom to ensure product availability.
Administration: Handle administrative tasks related to sales transactions, customer records, and inventory management. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Product Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of our products.
Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations and a seamless customer experience.
Job requirements
Grade 12 qualification (Mandatory)
2+ years in a similar role (Advantageous)
Willingness to work Saturdays
Experience in stock management and sales and administrative duties (Advantageous)
Computer literate
Valid drivers licence
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
