Ernest Lowe (ELCO)

Ernest Lowe, known as ELCO, is a hydraulic and pneumatic engineering company established 127 years ago, with its main workshop and warehouse in Boksburg and eleven branches across South Africa. It distributes, services and refurbishes hydraulic and pneumatic products and components, including valves, regulators and drain management equipment, and also covers industrial automation systems. The company is one of the largest local manufacturers and reconditioners of hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders in the region, designing and manufacturing two of its own hydraulic cylinder ranges. Services run from system design and manufacture through repairs and refurbishment to 24 hour field support, with distribution across South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa.
