Franschhoek Cellar

Franschhoek Cellar is a winery and visitor venue in the Franschhoek Valley, a short drive from Cape Town. Its tasting room is open daily and pairs its wines with Belgian chocolate or handmade cheese, served by wine hosts, with a kitchen operating alongside it and boards and snacks available into the late afternoon; the venue is cashless and bookings are taken online. Two event spaces are available: The Venue, next to the tasting emporium, which seats up to one hundred and fifty guests and is one of the larger spaces in the valley, used for weddings, conferences, corporate events, birthdays, baby showers and kitchen teas, and the Platform Bar and Bistro, a remodelled railway platform built to mimic a train carriage, seating up to fifty with mountain and vineyard views, air conditioning in summer and fireplaces in winter. Wine is sold in the shop on site and online, with delivery nationally.
