Groot Constantia Wine Estate

Groot Constantia is South Africa's oldest wine estate, established in 1685 in Cape Town and now more than three centuries old. Its wines are grown and made on the estate, and the awards it has collected over that period are presented as the record of its quality. Visitors can take a cellar tour covering how the wine is made and follow it with a tasting, with more than one tasting venue on the property so guests can choose a quieter setting away from the main courtyard. The estate is a working farm as well as a heritage site, and wine is sold for delivery as well as on the property.
